Why student chapter
Student chapters encourage the promotion of applied engineering practice and research studies to students of mechanical and automotive engineering. Student chapter broadens the field of studies to apply the principles of science and mathematics in an effective way to solve real world engineering problems among students. It also encourages healthy competition and team work among all students and faculties in the society.

- Rs.700-For 4 years (for first year Student)
Fee Structure
- The Institute must be a AICTE recognized Institute.
- There must be a minimum of 25 Student members in order to open a Student Chapter.
- There must be a Faculty Advisor for the Student Chapter.
- A constitution Should be made in a Student Chapter consisting of

- Act as the liaison with the college administration, the College of Engineering and the local Professional Section.

Vice President
- Contribute to the common goal of increasing student projects, activities
- Planning of different events which will increase the skills of the students.
Secretary
- Contribute to the common goal of increasing student projects, activities
- All financial issues if any should be taken care
Treasurer
- All the technical queries of the students are answered 24X7.
- Students will get a Id card and a Certificate.
- There will be 25% fee waiver in the workshops and training sessions all over INDIA conducted by SMAE to the members of the Student Chapter.
- There will be 10% fee waiver in the Events(like Students Kart Design Challenge) conducted by SMAE to the members of Student Chapter.
- Students can discuss their doubts and share their knowledge in our forums.
- Having opportunities to gain experience in administering various activities, concluding meetings, taking part in committee activities and writing and speaking before groups.
